Long time no update! ---Keeping this as short as possible by updating on Mason and work.

Mason had a great first birthday!! :) His one year appointment was the day after his birthday. Everything looks great she said! He has 7 teeth now with #8 about to come through any day now. We decided to delay the milk challenge test til after his 15 mt appointment because she would like him sleeping through the night before we throw him for a "potential" loop. He has accidentally drank some of Austins milk (when he steals his sippy before we can get to him)....and this caused a big flare up in his ezcema recently. Not sure if the two are totally related though. His one year lab test for hemocrit came back perfect. :) So no iron drops needed. He did not tolerate his shots well...ended up with roseola about 5 or so days afterwards. :(

His first birthday party went well! He was a bit fussy/clingy at times due to still not feeling well but he did pretty good we thought. :) Got spoiled by everyone of course! :)

His sleep is slowly improving and he is also actually starting to nap more in his crib versus on me. He has been taking steps here and there for a couple weeks but really started taking more this weekend! :) Says mama & dada. LOVE his big brother and pushing cars/trucks across the carpet. Also loves to "cook" in his play kitchen he got from Gogo & Poppy! We have introduced coconut milk with mild success so far. His eating is also improving as well. :)

Work finally decided to compromise and let me start working early as a RN while they finish the credentialing and priveleges process since the delays have been totally their fault, which they readily admit to. I start my first shift tomorrow night. Doing 3 night shifts this week and then next week I have some general hospital orientation on that Monday (the 29th) and by law they have to have me attend the bare minimum of RN orientation so I will also by attending whatever that is (they haven't told me which sessions I need to attend yet haha). Goal date for me to be in my NNP role is the week of August 12.

Ok I said this was just about Mason and work but I can't do a blog post without including Austin! :)
He is doing awesome in speech! They did reapprove him for an additional 3 months of therapy (goes in 3 month increments) which we are happy about because he really likes his speech therapist and he (and we) is learning a lot. Loves to swim and go to the playground lately. Still very obsessed with trains! He also likes to read in his crib before naptime/bedtime. Very cute!
