Busy, busy, busy....

House: They've not quite been able to stick to the posted schedule the last 2 weeks for various reasons. The permanent electricity was done Thursday but the electrician was unable to make it out to our house Friday to install our lights so that will be done Monday. Carpet was supposed to be put down Thursday & Friday...get there today and the carpet pad has been tacked/stapled down and the carpet is still rolled up. Assuming that will be done early next week?! On the plus side... the wood for the foyer floor arrived, the toilets and sinks are installed. The mirrors are hung. The pantry and closet shelving is all installed as well. The banister for the stairs is done. Shutters done. Driveway, walkway and sidewalk was also poured on Friday. So there was definetly progress this week!! :)

Current house had its inspection last Friday the 26th and then the appraisal this past Friday. Inspection did not find any major flaws with the house...just little stuff. We should hear back about the appraisal on Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully the house comes back with a value that is the same or more than what the seller & us agreed upon for the price!

Packing has started. We are now both parking outside and putting boxes in the garage as they are packed. Crazy & overwhelming at times.

Austin: Speech is going great!! :) Can't keep up with all the new words & phrases. Boys met their summer babysitter on Thursday and they seem to like her. :) Austin is also doing AWESOME at sharing toys with Mason lately...lets hope he keeps it up!! :)

Mason: 6 teeth! Eating his solid food better if it comes in a pouch...still mostly rejecting the homemade food and I think its because its mushier. Not liking puffs or the dairy free (made with coconut milk) yogurt melts. He also started crawling this week!! :) Crazy that he is mobile now but he is much happier since he can go where he wants.

Job: Work pulled a fast one on me and rejected my prn request!! Who turns down help?!? Morons. They claim they have 2, maybe 3, traveling NNPs coming in the next few weeks. Whatev. So my last day is May 8....I asked if I could extend my last day til the end of May since they didnt approve my prn request and they said no. I had given my "last day before prn status" as May 8 because they scheduled me for some back to backs at the end of the schedule and I was scheduled to work the day we are moving. So after May 8 I don't work again til I start at Parkview in June. HR is supposed to calling me early next week with a better idea of a start date...dang hospital credentialing...
