Update:

Ultrasound showed multiple small follicles on the left ovary. The tech didn't even measure those. The right side had 2 follicles. One was 12 and the other was 16. Soo...still too small to get the Hcg trigger shot today.

Plan:

I am going back to the office on Friday morning at 9:30am. Instead of doing a repeat ultrasound he is just going to assume that the 16 one will have grown to at least 18 and give me the trigger shot at that time. He did say that it doesn't always work the first time around...which I figured. The success rate is still kinda low but who knows. The chance for multiples with only one follicle releasing is 6-8%. (Average girl has a 1% chance when not on fertility drugs.) If this cycle doesn't produce a pregnancy then he wants to see me for 3-4 more cycles before he refers me to the specialist. I don't know if I want to try 3-4 more if this one doesn't work...I was thinking maybe 2 more with him and then moving on.
